The benefit will be payable for each fracture or complete severance, provided that the fractures are due to separate accidents. When several fractures are due to the same accident, the Company pays the highest benefit. The benefit is doubled in certain circumstances (ex.: accident aboard public transit).

If death occurs within 30 days of the accident, no benefits will be paid. If benefits have been paid, they will be deducted from the amount of life insurance.
